The Centsys D5 Sliding gate motor is suitable for lightweight residential gates. Centsys gate motors are made in South Africa and offer a range of high speed sliding gate motors. Unlike traditional 24v gate motors, The Centsys D5 has a 12v motor which has battery back up built in, and can open a 4m sliding gate within 12 seconds. The motor is easy to install with a lcd screen & easy to use menu structure for changing settings.

FAQ's

• Do i need a 240v powerpoint at the gate? 

You can have a 240v powerpoint, or run a 12v supply with the optional Centsys transformer kit. The Centsys D5 Evo motor is also Solar 12v power compatible

• How far away can the gate motor be from the Wifi signal?

This will vary from site to site, in our experience its best to have a wifi signal at maximum of 20 meters away and in some situations its best to get a wifi router to increase the wifi signal at the front of your home

• How many times can I open the gate with mains power failure and battery back up on?

Approx 12-18 manuoveuers depending on gate size and weight 

• When should I consider replacing my motor with a new one? 

As an average, quality gate motors last approx 10-15 years with cheaper models lasting 2-5 years, if your motor is over 10 years old, its worth considering. anew motor as the cost of repair may be high.

• What if I need gear rack or other accessories?

Be sure to add gear rack if you need it, its available by the meter in up and down formats from the "Accessory" section of our online store
